Here is one method by using the loop device:

# mkdir xx
# mount -t iso9660 file.iso xx -o loop
# cd xx
# ls -l
total 22

dr-xr-xr-x    4 root     root         2048 May 13 20:46 install

dr-xr-xr-x   31 root     root         4096 Jun 29 11:17 rr_moved

# df .
