If there's a will, there's a way. After using the Windowseque "run" command from the menu, I fired up Konsole, typed su bart and can run Lindows as user bart. :-) You must run as root if you don't know how to su. I'm surprised all the reviewers missed that one. You can restore the functionality of a Debian system with a little tinkering. I couldn't recommend it for a "desktop" user, and I surely couldn't recommend it for an experienced Linux user, but it is an interesting experiment and was worth the $99 just to fire up IE 6 (from my win 2000 partition) and go the MS site for an update <evil grin>. It couldn't recognize which version of Windows I was running. Can you imagine that? :-) Sadly, my object of desire -- running Dreamweaver/Fireworks 4 under Linux -- is still out of reach. No cigar with Linodows. Cheers, Susan -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
