Of course it's possible. Assuming you aren't using XDMCP (not configured by default, I believe), just telnet to the box and export your display (e.g. "export DISPLAY=<your_Exceed_box_IP):0") and run your X client. If you're using ssh, it's even easier. The Red Hat /etc/ssh/ssh*config files should support X11 forwarding by default, so all you need to do is ssh into your remote box, and execute your X client.
