Caveat: No offense intended to anyone involved in this discussion but pontificating isn't going to fix it. The person with the problem ran a box that got cracked... this is a prime indicator to me that this person is almost wholly dependent on the skills of others in package development (package management being a much simpler task... if it's undertaken religiously) and did not truly understand the need to update their box as though it were a life or death situation (which, for the box at least, it is). In my original, brief recommendation I took that into account but I did not say it is what *I* would do at my level of experience, nor did I say it is what everyone should do... I was speaking directly to the person who's box now belongs to someone else. - -- [EMAIL PROTECTED], RHCE Instructor, Global Learning Services -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+ALzDYCtDlaj78K8RAiOBAJsGGvTo4Yl4sazUSGwuPfLv/pQ/kACgkgCZ aA1eNgm1F2T60WGL79ypQPw= =CMpc -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
