Golf is very stressful on the back muscles. I can accept that the guy might need to skip a start if he has irritated his lat muscle, but there is just no way he should be golfing. And the fact that he did it at a local golf course, where he knew he would be recognized, just demonstrates his complete disregard for what Red Sox fans think.
