closed loop is where there is an input and an output drilled into the
tank
and a pump that is dedicated to that input and output. You plump the
input
and output of the pump to the tank. That way, you have additional
current in
the tank, it is very easy to hide, and if the power goes out, it will
not
flood because the water pressure is equalized. I have a 1 inch bulkheads
drilled into the bottom of my tank and they are plumed with 1 inch pipe
to a
mag 24 (which by the way is too much). It is on a random timer, and
turns on
and off surging water into the tank. You cant even see them, because
they
are on the bottom of the tank, and are easily concealed with LR.
