Shoa is a biblical Hebrew word meaning Holocaust (or more literally a burnt offering). Kippa is indeed Hebrew for yarmulke (a word of uncertain linguistic origin), What I have read of the report so far is reminiscent of the 19th century Hebrew poet YL Gordon-be a man in the street and a Jew in your home.
