I've taken a CWID'er and, combined with an LM386 audio amp, did "collector modulated" CW for link ID'ing by AC-coupling the CW audio into the power control circuitry. In broadcast we do FSK ID'ing, as well as MCW/AM, on FM translators. Works nice, and, when done right, isn't audible on an FM receiver. --- Jeff
