Also I'm curious about your findings with regard to using the upper half of atennas like the DB420 and impedance you are seeing at the mid point connector. I'm assuming the entire antenna presents a 50 +/-ohm load at the original feed point but what impedance do you actually see if you using the top half (of a damage antenna)and feed it at the mid-point connector ?
