hmm... I thought intel video had been working for a while, also part of the
dot release process with rhel is new drivers.  But admittedly I usually
don't load rhel onto laptops, and I rarely run X on my servers.  I tend to
stick with Fedora on desktops and laptops.

our internal systems team prefers the HPs because its what they've
standardized on for windows (and except for the IRQ conflicts it actually
seems to be a decent machine).   They said they are willing to look
elsewhere if this is to much of a pain though.
