run_register from their system and that went well it seemed.
Then I got all uppity and tried to do a yum update. The system told me of

What would a reasonable troubleshooting sequence be? It is certainly
possible that this customer, also knowing enough to get into trouble, has
who knows how many rules in his router to prevent me from updating his
computer. Perhaps my customer is innocent and the system has something set
to goof up.
