Hi - I have searched and cannot find an answer to this. I have ripped many CDs to apple lossless. I have just discovered the joys of lossless flacs. As I don't want to re-rip hundreds of CDs, I want to convert my individual apple lossless files to flac and then combine them into a single flac file with embedded cue sheet.
I can download cue sheets from various web sites for the CDs. I could construct a script to convert alac to flac and join the flacs; then add a cue sheet. But I have a few questions: 1) Am I reinventing the wheel - has anyone done this already ? 2) Will I have lost too much information on precise start and end points of tracks to be able to usefully use a cue sheet ? Any help gratefully received.... Cheers. -- forestcaver ------------------------------------------------------------------------ forestcaver's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3550 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=20376 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
