Just one suggestion, can't you use a CD-R/W? That way you can re-use the
same disc. Won't save you any time, but it will mean not burning a load of
discs you don't really need.

I think you'd be better off putting each album onto it's own CD. As you say,
tagging etc will be easier that way.
