While ripping my collection I have discovered that around 95% of my
CDR's have serious errors according to EAC within 5 years. I have seen
no such problem with Data disks although the number of Audio CD's is
small (around 50).

Something to watch is that around 3% of my commercial discs have
serious errors mainly due to bronzing over a 15 year period (Out of a
sample of about 600) so if you haven't ripped them yet it is worth
chacking the old ones.
