I was hoping to see more activity in this thread. I did a quick test using a completely new CD.
1. Ripped with EAC. Got confirmation that it was accuretely ripped (high confidence) 2. Ripped with Ripstation Micro 3. Compared the two wav with EAC and got some difference as shown in the attached picture below. The file on the left is from EAC and the one on the right form Ripfactory. Probably the first and third line have no effect on the quality, but the second line worries me a little bit. I tried to listen but couldn't hear any difference, still irritating to know that there is one. Next it would be a good idea to try with a severely scratched CD. On the positive side is to say that Ripstation is extremely fast. I don't care much about the tagging capabilities as I am going to retag it anyway my way, but I would like to be sure that the copies are bit correct. Anybody with more experience that can add something to my findings? Thanks. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: Capture.JPG | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=4769| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- Aguida ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Aguida's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9285 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=44534 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
