It was neither. That was song no. 3 of the first CD in the latest Bob
Dylan compilation "Dylan".

But i did some more test and got even more worrying results.

I took a scratched CD (actually I din't know it was scratched as it was
difficult to see the scratch) there was one song on this cd that was
affected by the scratch and it was ripped using both EAC and
Ripstation.

1. EAC could not RIP this song in secure mode but it could in burst
mode, however it reported that the rip was not accurate. Listening to
the rip it was possible to hear that the song was clearly damaged with
scratching sound and distortion.
2. Ripstation went through the ripping without any warning or error.
Listening to the songs it presented the same artifacts as EAC's rip.

As it is now Ripfactory is not reliable for my needs as I cannot sit
and listen to all the ripped songs.

I think it would be a great addition to Ripfactory to integrate
accuraterip into it. Especially when ripping in batch lots of cd's it
would be impossible to sit down and listen to all the songs in case
some had been ripped wrongly. Reporting that one specific song could
not be verified or that there have been reading errors it would make it
much easier to go back and just listen to that song.
