I did one more test. This one was from ripping a song from a rather old and scratched CD. As you can see there are lots of differences between the EAC rip and Ripstation's.
EAC reported Accuraterip match, so if that is true than definetely Ripstation copy is not bit accurate. Just to be 100% sure that my test was correct I ripped again the same song on another computer using dbPoweramp as ripping program. I got an accuraterip confirmation and when I compared the EAC ripped WAV file and the one ripped by dbPoweramp those two were 100% identical - bit by bit. So my conclusion is that Ripstation unfortunately cannot be used if the goal is to have bit perfect copies. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: Compare.JPG | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=4827| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- Aguida ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Aguida's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9285 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=44534 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
