first, i use EAC to rip CDs. second, winamp does do replaygain, meaning if u configure it, it will both write rg tags, and use them in playback. (it doesn't have to rip the cd to do that)
third, winamp will do autotagging with existing files. very easily. fourth, winamp also will place album artwork in the folder, as a separate process. winamp is about nearly perfect as a pgm for music on a computer as there is. about the only thing i want from it that it doesn't have is support for compilation tags, but i bet eventually it'll do that too. -- MrSinatra www.LION-Radio.org Using: Squeezebox2 (primary) / SBR (secondary) / SBC - w/SC 7.1beta - Win XP Pro SP3 - 3.2ghz / 2gig ram - D-Link DIR-655 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MrSinatra's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2336 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48890 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
