Sorry, didn't read your post properly! Are your .m4a files Nero format, do you know? http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/SlimServerSupportedTags probably doesn't help, I suspect that page hasn't been updated for years (not least for the fact it says SlimServer)
The only experience I have of m4a files are iTunes compatible ones, but I have to be honest I don't use "Band". Maybe try loading those tags into iTunes and see what you can do with them? If you're not a regular user and/or don't want it on your machine longer than necessary you could set s system restore point just before installing itnes, that would give you a belt n' braces uninstall route. Don't know if it would work - some 'tags' in iTunes are stored in it's library file, and not the files themselves. Maybe worth a shot though? Plan B would be to convert the offending files to a lossless format that Squeezecenter is happier with; I've been using dBpoweramp recently for ripping and/or file conversion, and it's great. Free full-feature trial period too, should be long enough to do the trick. -- moley6knipe 2 x SqueezeBox 3 | 1 x SqueezeCenter 7 | 1 x Win XP Pro SP2 | 1 x Happy listener :-) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ moley6knipe's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10014 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49077 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/ripping
