"correct"? i would say "current." correct again is a matter of opinion. i believe the VA logic is totally unnecessary and should be optional. and i would say that if i have a CD with one guest artist in it, that CD should not be called a VA cd and should list BOTH artists in the artists list. there are other methodologies that i think are more flexible and more intuitive, and ultimately would cause less problems and confusion than the current implementation. Settings change the way the queries bring back lists. yes, but for instance, home -> artists is one list "per moment" and the only way to change it is to ajust tags and settings and way too many of those adjustments 1. shouldn't be necessary at all to change the list at the moment, and 2. require a full clear and rescan. again, the new schema may make all this moot, so we'll see. but i have a big problem with how it is currently. it could be so much better.
