I don't automate replaygain tags for new rips, because I often tweak the tags 
first.  eg. make a multi-disk album into a single album, and apply album 
replaygain over all songs on the album.

Rip the disks (prefer EAC).
Sort out tags (prefer Mp3Tag).
Apply replaygain (prefer Foobar2000).

Potentially, I could configure Mp3Tag to apply replaygain tags, but I've just 
got used to Foobar, which is good at calculating album replaygain across 
multiple albums (if configured properly).
