You can vote for this bug report https://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=15167 and hope that Logitech will fix the issue soon. Maybe you can use the plugins CustomScan and CustomBrowse to read and display the ORIGYEAR information if you are using only or mostly flac files with Vorbis Comments. For those files ORIGYEAR is currently not read by SBS (without the CustomScan plugin configured to read it) but the YEAR tag is (although I think the recommended Vorbis Comment for this is DATE).
