Yeap, I'd agree with that - if you are using SBS and iTunes only, using BAND 
(TPE2) will probably be easiest for you.

If you use Foobar2000, then you may want to store in ALBUM ARTIST (custom tag - 
TXXX frame) instead/too.  It doesn't hurt to have both, but unnecessary or 
potentially confusing for you.  I believe SBS will read only one (not sure 
whether BAND or ALBUM ARTIST would take precidence).
