Yes. You should make an effort to understand how Mp3tag maps its internal names as explained on the page I linked to. You could conceivably use both, but it would probably be a bad idea. iTunes uses TPE2 for Album Artist, so there's no sense in getting yourself too crossed up. What Mp3tag would do if you created an 'Album Artist' tag is create a 'user-defined' TXXX frame with a description of 'Album Artist' in the ID3v2 tag (see: 'ID3.org' (http://www.id3.org/id3v2.3.0#head-29e37534e169ad913deb6a4fee345028f3db7c3f)).
