I've been searching but can't get an answer to a basic question about MP3Tag and album art. I use it for routine tag editing and only recently wanted to try the album art function. I have all my files with the artwork as cover.jpg....not embedded. How do I add an artwork jpg in MP3Tag? I can't tell if the art that it picks up from it's sources is embedded or added as a jpg.
Can you tell in the extended tags menu? I don't see anything that differentiates between the two methods. In Tag and Rename, you can choose between the two options when adding tags, but I can't see this in MP3Tag.
