Good call Mark ;)

I tell you what... I hate Exchange! I've never used a poorer performing mail server. Not only did it suck installed, but it sucks uninstalled -- especially when you have to gut it out of the server by hand like I still have to do.

I hate to do this, but could we kill the broadband thread? I think last year we flamed GBIS too, and the year before Redundant, and the year before Pyramid, and the year before Intercomm, and the year before Connectix, and the year before the hard disk cafe bbs.

I suggest we flame Microsoft. So who here has to deal with Exchange?

Ya can't beat Great Basin...

I signed up with them for a week back in the 90's and
quit because I was unable to connect at the promised
speed. 5 years later I received a letter from a
collection agency saying I owed them $20 that suddenly
became $40 something. I didn't owe them anything and
refused to pay. It then showed up on my credit report
so I called Great Basin. They didn't care.

I just need to take the time to go to small claims
court. It's not worth the time or money, but it will
be worth the satisfaction...

BTW, I've been using SBC DSL for @ 5 years now without
any major problems.

Anyone here using Great Basin's Starter DSL service?
 While I am
relatively happy with SBC, I wouldn't mind the
cheaper price and
supporting a local company. Just basic Internet
usage with my desktop
and once in a while my laptop, no servers or
anything like that. I just
don't want to have issues trying to switch.

Thanks,
Steve
