I have found in the past that doing that can some times crash the

menus wrap, so I am not sure wouldn't you just wrap around?
No, if you hold down the button it stops at the end of the list. If you
were looking for an item IN the list, you wouldn't reach the end and
need the beep anyway. If you wanted to reach the end, you just hold the
button down and as soon as spelling / speaking is not interrupted by it
moving to a new item, you know you're at the end. Basically, since
you'll stop automatically at the end of the list it shouldn't be a
problem. If you're using one of the few targets that doesn't (it's
possible to bypass the end on a scrollwheel depending on how you scroll)
the instant you hear an earlier letter you know you've passed it.
also, just as a note, the beep comes in a while before the speech,
there is a noticeable gap, making it more efficient than relying on
the speech.
How much longer, really?
Again, why do you need to be specifically AT the end of the list? What
is the goal, exactly? Are you not looking for an item in the list?
