Is anyone out the running rodopi, sql2000 on the same machine behind a sonicwall firewall?
I am looking for some insight on the setup for this?
Ports to keep open? In general just what needs to be done to secure it.
I am new to the sonicwall firewall, and rather re-invent the wheel thought I would ask you
all if any of you have tackled this, and come up with a working solution you might share using the sonicwall..
Thanks For any input….
We have been hammered lately with backdoors, hidden ftp servers, and the alike.
It was very disturbing when I start seeing several connections to my rodopi, sql machine from connections around the globe.
Then I find Optix installed on it, and two other machines.
I know there is hidden directories, and ftp service a running, I was going tosetup windows 2000 ip security as a temp solution but wasn’t 100 percent sure what all ports needed to be open for rodopi, and sql2000 to run properly.
