 Actually, I was trying to remember the mutex approach.  
   
 There's a good chance I already have some software for this on a CD in a 
book I picked up a while ago.  When I get home, I'll check on this and 
pass the software on.  
   
 Er, by 'for this', I mean for 'threadifying' the thread non-safe 
functions.
