That seems like a clean patch.   Since we just got 7.02 finished, it won't 
hurt to try it now.  
   
 One change, though, and it's only a language thing: you used the word 
"yet" when the proper word is "already."  The comment "check if we're yet 
done" should read "check if we're already done" and the variable name 
"YetEncoded" should be "AlreadyEncoded".  
   
 The code itself looks great, thouhgh.  Let's try it.
