It shouldn't make any difference to document loading. The audio previews are (were) generated in a separate thread after the document had loaded. > > * File -> New and File -> Open sometimes crash. I just got it to crash again on File -> New with a new build, but I'm afraid I didn't have core dumps enabled at the time. I did it by hitting the New toolbar button while the audio segment previews from the previous file were still generating, if that's any use -- it's not easily repeatable though.
