I mostly agree with all those (and have committed a fix accordingly), however I'm still uneasy about the usability of the whole thing. Presenting a composition with a very small number of tracks just doesn't look good, nor feels comfortable. It's like working on a text document or a spreadsheet where you'd constantly have to add blank space at the end to work on.
