Running RPCemu v0.8.6 RISC OS 4.39 on a Windows Vista machine: Having installed Memphis, when I re-started RPCemu the boot sequence didn't complete, hanging on a black screen with no error message.
On a 'real' RPC one would shift-power-on to start the machine, without it booting, and then sort out the offending program. Is it possible to do that with RPCemu? I have now re-started RPCemu using a 50KB disc image - blank apart from the boot sequence - but I would like to recover data from the 1GB disc image which contains the problematic boot sequence. The User Manual says that RPCemu can emulate two IDE drives, provided that the CD drive is not configured but, having changed the name of the problematic disc image to hd5.hdf I cannot persuade RPCemu to recognise it, since Configure will not allow more than one drive to be set. I should be grateful for any advice. Tony _______________________________________________ Rpcemu mailing list [email protected] http://www.riscos.info/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/rpcemu
