I do most of my RTAI hacking (and all of my regular activities)
with a 2.4.0 kernel patched with a combo of RTAI, LTT, low-latency,
timekeeper, and a few random patches. I've seen no difficulties
so far, but if you're interested in attempting to crash it for
me, you can find the patches at ftp://ftp.zentropix.com/pub/ds/patches.
I tend to upload it only when people ask me, though.
