Actually, apart from some versions of the lowlatency patch not really working
(ie not covering all kernel calls), and some user space drivers (like XFree86)
and applications having built-in deadlocks that are exposed only if they're
running SCHED_FIFO, there's nothing much to worry about. Use kernel drivers,
libraries and other stuff as much as you like, but keep in mind that (just as
with RTL, RTAI, QNX or whatever) if you access something that's inherently
nondeterministic, that will impact the performance of your code.
