Hi All,
        I think another reason for a decline in MR circulation is an 
increasing sophistication of the hobby.  MR with their "All things to 
all people." approach is losing out.  Another thing along the same line 
is the increasing sophistication of the RTR products.  You don't need 
MR to tell you haw to improve your Kadee PS-1 boxcar.  They are very 
good already!  I dropped MR because of a lack of S scale coverage, but 
I have to admit that space and cost were issues also.
