Presence! A key word! It's obvious that S Scale isn't going to have
any great presence in most hobby shops any time soon, and even the S
Gaugian doesn't have the shelf presence of MR, RMC, etc.

Where does S have a presence? Right here on the web. Without getting
into the nitty-gritty of web publishing, maybe for a start the Photos
section of this board could be opened up for public viewing.

I lurk the O Gauge Railroading board and while most of their
discussions don't interest me, their "Weekend Photo Fun" treads do.
The pictures themselves run the gamut of 3-rail model railroading, but
quite a few are really good in both content and quality, 3rd rail and
deep flanges not withstanding. If nothing else, it shows O Gauge as an
active and vibrant segment of the hobby.

While the nature of the Yahoo format doesn't allow for photo's imbedded
in the posts, making public the Photos section at least would indicate
we're not dead yet... I seem to recall way back when this board was e-
groups, the photos were public.

The proof is in the pictures. Right here, right under our noses. An
easy and available outlet to show what we can do with this scale called
S.

Besides, ya never know, might help to get some folks interested,
otherwise all they have to go on is our snappy banter.
