One other point I forgot to mention, two of the three GP9s also wobbled.  I 
traced the problem to crooked wheel sets which would rotate in and out of 
gauge.  I did not realize this problem until I ran the engines upside down and 
watched the wheels spin.  

I used a NWSL puller to re-center the wheels to the correct gauge since 
replacement wheel sets from NWSL were not available at the time.
