I can think of 2 reasons off the top of my head.

1. Price - As a scaler but not a rivet counter, I don't need all the 
super details that add to the costs. I do both hi-rail and scale and 
adhere to the close enough is good enough. My guess is that few of us 
are rivet counters but I may be wrong. Personally I would rather have 2 
AM cars I really want for the same price.

2. Car is not on my list of must haves or even want to haves. Nice car 
but see #1. If it were really a car I wanted badly that would be different.

Jim does fantastic work but so far nothing in my Got to have list.
