REPLY : I agree.  I just checked their site and the $50 price folks have been 
throwing around is correct.  I can see paying $30 or $35 for a shell, but not 
$50.  I cannot justify that price... especially not an undecorated shell.

REPLY : Yes, I want three FA-1/FB-1 sets.  I just want a A and B shell for now 
for experimentation to make sure the conversion can be done ACCURATELY and how 
much work it is gonna be.  If it works and isn't too labor intensive, I will 
probably just buy three complete, undecorated FA-2s and three complete, 
undecorated FB-2s and convert them.

Damn shame someone can't be convinced to produce replacement shells for the AM 
models.  Should be an easy conversion since (according to the drawings I have) 
the FA-2s/FB-2s had the same truck centers as the FA-1/FB-1s did.
