I strongly doubt AM's shells are even remotely as nice (quality/ detail wise)
as  of one of Athearn's modern shells .  Therefore the price difference in
uderstandable.

Gents...

Does anyone know how much Athearn charges for a "loose shell" for one of their
current production HO diesels?  Or Flyonel?  Or Jim King?  Or Des Plaines
Hobbies for their yet-to-be-released new diesel?  Or SHS?

Is it possible that AM just might be more cooperative than the others when it
comes to "loose shells"?

Just curious....Ed L.
