Although sight was NOT a factor of what turned me on to S, I can say that it is now fast becoming a huge factor of what is keeping me in S. I am still modeling in HO, but finding it harder and harder to work with, even at my mere age of 42 (43 next March). The last three years have NOT been good for my eyes at all.

We recently had a poll re the average age of an "S"Scaler. Scale hopefully was the operative word. Johns responce to Ed."K", got me thinking. I wondered how old people were when they migrated to "S"Scale. Being from the other side of the pond I may be barking up the wrong tree, but I was in my mid 40s. I like to think it was a detail thing, but it could have inadvertantly been a sight thing. One or two very good modelers over here in their 40s & 50s expressed their delight at the level of detail. They also comented on failing sight. Ex Ho-Ho'ers per chance !!! Don MacDougall UK. [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
