I started in S at about 20. HO at 14. Tried OO, O,, G along the line. Actualy I think it that desire for perfection in Scottish & Irish blood.

I like to think it was a detail thing, but it could have inadvertantly been a sight thing. One or two very good modelers over here in their 40s & 50s expressed their delight at the level of detail.
