Pieter: Without checking, I believe the build dates on the Rock Island C.R.I.X. cars is mid-fifties to early sixties. That,s about the same time Santa Fe was receiving their 40-ft. SFRB cars, which the American Models Santa Fe plug door boxcar is patterned after. I chose a 1955 build date for the decals.
I have a little time to figure out the paint shade - I haven't got the PD boxcars for them, yet.
