Dear Bob,
That might be the rebuilt date. These were wooden reefers that were rebuilt
with steel sides. I thought I saw the telltale horz. belt rail on the sides
were the seam for the steel sheets were riveted. I saw an article about
building these for the ART and had toyed with the idea of coming out with this
model as there are tons of paint schemes that can be applied. Another plus is
that these lasted until the end of stage ice reefers.
