Just for clarity sake, a business can't donate products they would normally
sell in the course of business and write it off as a charitable donation. We
wanted to donate some turbine engines to a college and take the write off, but
it is not allowed. We could donate them and write them off at scrap value
$.10-.20 per pound as if we were sending them to a metal recycler.

I'm sure Bill's cars would be handled the same way from an IRS standpoint.

Completely different set of rules than personal charity donations.
