Mark,

Every once in awhile, we have somebody quit the business, but eventually
they will be replaced by somebody new. So yes with many of the
seemingly prolonged economic situations, you will not be able to
purchase everything you need but you can certainly find "modernish"
product with just a little searching. There are lot's of grain/pellet
hoppers ( in at least 3 styles) around, Evans and FMC , Waffle side, &
all door boxcars plus double stacks and BTS's cars are around for a few
days.

Perhaps some kind of incentive type sale might turn scrap around to some
profit--aka SHS sale! That means the guys that spend some money, store
the stuff for some time, then get to become Ebay store owners. It works
for some people and is not a lot different than Charlie's old Gang of 100!
