Locally we had to prove we were actually an official club with papers of
incorporation, constitution, by-laws and tax info stuff before we were
given the coverage. So indeed it's more than just three guys getting
together in somebody's basement.
Every club should have a lawyer, a CPA, an insurance agent, a real
estate agent and a host of other skills that can be used to run a club
behind the scenes. In this way things might just run smoothly on the
outside.
