I stand educated. Seriouely, though, I have never been even as far west as the Mississippi, nevermind across it, so all I really knew was that Texas is west of me... and that it borders one or more of the desert states. Oh, and I know what R. Lee Ermee (the drill sergeant) said about people from Texas in the movie Full Metal Jacket... but I won't go there now (or ever). LOL!!!
