Our water table is too high plus we (Arlington, Fort Worth) would have to dig through some bedrck to get down far enoughfor the foundation.One thing I miss. Two great hobby shops in the Denver area, Mizell Trains and Caboose Hobbies (otherwise known as the Rocky Mountain Model Railroad Mecca Store). Even the basements were relatively dry. I went to several model train club meetings while we lived there and guys talked about track that had been stored in open containers for years, no rust. OK, I admit it: I miss the mountains...
